Genting: Petaling BC fought until the bitter end but eventually bowed out to Kepong BC 7-13 in the quarter-finals of the Purple League Champions Challenge on Friday.

World No. 19 Kenichi Tago got off to a good start for Petaling in the first men's singles match edging past Ai Wei Jian of Kepong BC 11-10, 11-3, 11-6 in just 27 minutes. Kuala Lumpur: After several postponements, Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) have again postponed Lee Chong Wei's doping hearing as they've entered the last phase of the evidence collection process.

BAM is expected to bring the case to Badminton World Federation (BWF) either sometime this month or sometime in March the latest. Vice President of BAM Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria said officials from BWF have agreed to make themselves available whenever BAM are ready to present the case.Hopefully the waiting game will end soon for Lee Chong Wei
