Lahore, Apr.7: Pakistani badminton players are yet to receive visas for India where they are scheduled to participate in the Asian Badminton Championship.

The championship is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from April 12 to 18, and the Pakistani team is scheduled to leave on April 10, but the players have not received their visas yet.

The Pakistani contingent, which would include players like Wajid Ali, Umar Zeeshan, Rizwan Azam, Kashif Sulehri, Palwasha Basher and Sara Khan, would be going to the event without a professional coach, The News reports.

The Pakistan badminton team lacks proper preparation as no training camp was organised prior to the coveted tournament.
