South Korea added two silver medals on Sunday at the Badminton World Junior Championships, failing to top the podium at the competition.

Kang Ji-wook lost to Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in two straight sets, 21-19 and 21-10, in the men's single final Sunday in Guadalajara, Mexico. Paired with Choi Hye-in, Kang also suffered a 21-15, 21-15 setback against Liu Cheng and Bao Yixin of China in the mixed doubles final.

Earlier last week, South Korea was overwhelmed by China in the team event final, and had to settle for second place.
