China's Chen Long beats Chong Wei in Korea Open final (pic)

SEOUL: Chen Long of China denied Lee Chong Wei a fourth Korea Open title when he upstaged the World No 1 in Seoul today.

An agressive Chen Long notched a 21-14, 21-15 win over Chong Wei, the defending champion, in a 56-minute final.Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei looks down after losing a point against China's Chen Long during their men's singles final match at the Korea Open Badminton tournament in Seoul, South Korea, Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. It was the repeat of last year Denmark Open final in October which was also clinched in straight games by Chen Long.

The duo are expected to battle for the Malaysia Open crown when the premier super series tournament begins at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday.
