World number one Lee Chong Wei already announced he would skip the French Open even before the start of Denmark Open early last week. At the same time, the Chinese superstar Lin Dan withdrew in the second round of Denmark Open last Thursday due to a sore knee, and had decided to pull out of French Open for his knee treatment.
