Rajiv Ouseph of England needed just 21 minutes to dispose of Malaysian shuttler Kuan Beng Hong to ease through to the second round of the Macau Open.

Both independent Malaysian shuttlers Zulfadli Zulkiffli and Mohd Arif Abdul Latif also did well to advance to the second round on Wednesday.

However, former Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) international Tan Chun Seang was forced to concede the match due to injury.
