Hyderabad: World No. 9 women’s singles player P.V Sindhu who had won her maiden Superseries title at China Open and reached the Hong Kong Open final in last two weeks, has decided to pull out of the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold which began on Tuesday in preparation for the Dubai Superseries finals.P.V Sindhu has a bright future ahead of her. “She was originally scheduled to play at Macau Open, but after knowing she had qualified for the Dubai Superseries finals as the No. 8 seed, we have decided to skip the Macau GPG to give her more time to get ready for the Dubai event,” said Sindhu’s father P.V Ramana.

Taiwan Tai Tzu Ying who won last week’s Hong Kong Open was ranked the top seed in women’s singles event in Dubai. Besides P.V. Sindhu, Tai will be competing against Akane Yamaguchi of Japan, Sun Yu of China, Sung Ji-hyun of Korea, Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand, He Bingjiao of China, and Carolina Marin of Spain for that prestigious year-end award from Badminton World Federation.
