BADMINTON TICKETS UP FOR GRABS

AN England badminton victory on Sunday, February 15, would bridge a 25-year gap at European level.

The ECHO Arena stages the European Team Championships from next Tuesday, with England second favourites to the powerful Danish side.

You have to go back to the 1980s in Preston to celebrate the last home team success, but England coach Ian Wright is looking to his players to try and improve on that record.

With 32 nations competing it promises to be a thrilling tournament – and you could see some of the action free.

The ECHO, in conjunction with Badminton England, are offering 10 pairs of tickets for Thursday, February 12.

To have a chance of winning a pair of tickets just answer the following question:

When was the last time England won the European Team title?

a) 1992 b) 1984 c) 1980

The first 10 correct entries selected at random will each receive a pair of tickets which will have to be collected from the ECHO Arena.
