By : K.M. Boopathy WORLD No 2 Lee Chong Wei and high-riding women's doubles Wong Pei Tty-Chin Eei Hui advanced to the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open with convincing victories in Odense yesterday. Chong Wei, the second seed, beat Poland's Przemyslaw Wacha 21-12, 21-13 in the second round match which lasted 30 minutes.
Pei Tty-Eei Hui, who eliminated World No 1 Zhang Yawen-Wei Yili of China in the first round, defeated India's Jwala Gupta-Shruti Kurian 22-20, 21-19 to book their place in the last eight. They will play China's Zhao Tinting-Yu Yang today.  Chong Wei beat Poland’s Przemyslaw Wacha 21-12, 21-13 |
