TAN Boon Heong is adamant that his and doubles partner Koo Kien Keat's loss to a Korean scratch pair was a rare slip and the pair vowed to get their act together in their All England title defence in Birmingham next week.

Kien Keat-Boon Heong, the World No 3, were expected to cruise past Jung Jae Sung-Lee Jae Jin but instead suffered a stunning defeat on Sunday.

KUALA LUMPUR: National men’s doubles specialist Tan Boon Heong can’t stand losing to the same opponents twice. 

Last year, he and partner Koo Kien Keat lost to Taiwan’s Tsai Chia-hsin-Hu Chung-hsien in the second round of the China Open and Japan's Shuichi Sakamoto-Ikeda Shintaro in the third round of the World Championships.
