Korea Open - Lee-Jung Pair Wins Gold Medal (pic)

Lee Yong-dae and Jung Jae-sung claimed their fifth straight tournament title in men's badminton doubles, winning the Victor Korea Open Super Series in Seoul, Sunday.

The pair, ranked second in the world, defeated Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng of China 21-11, 14-21, 21-18 in rematch of the final round of the World Championships in August last year.

The Lee-Jung team, who also won the event in 2007, emerged victorious at the Hong Kong Super Series, China Super Series, Hwasun Korea International Challenge and BWF Super Series before Sunday's title.

In the women's singles final, Wang Shixian of China ended Sung Ji-hyun's surprising run, winning 21-10, 25-23.

The 18-year-old high school student defeated defending champion Tine Rasmussen of Denmark 21-15, 21-16 in the round of 16 and ousted Dutch Yao Jie 21-17, 21-18 in the quarterfinals.
