Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia’s first professional badminton league formerly known as Malaysia Purple League (MPL) has changed its name to Kopiko Purple League (KPL) for sponsorship reasons.
On Thursday, the league’s founder Datuk Jack Koh announced the final team rosters at the launching ceremony.
“I am pleased to announce there are four Olympic gold medalists, several world champions and world number ones have joined our league. These top shuttlers will ensure enough competitive balance among the teams within the league,” said Koh
Following is a list of clubs and playes in KPL:
1. Ampang Jaya BC
Manager: Ho Khek Mong.
