AFTER getting over the shock of a second-round defeat by Indian Anup Sridhar, Indonesian star Taufik Hidayat (left) turned up at the Putra Stadium yesterday to lend support to his team-mates.
Taufik becomes the cheer leader for his Indonesia teammates
He was in the spectators’ stands instead of the players’ area for the duration of the afternoon’s action.
When asked for an interview, Taufik smiled and politely said that he did not wish to talk about his exit from the World Championships. He will return home tomorrow.
