Kuala Lumpur: As Japan’s sudden spike in second wave of coronavirus cases has forced the Japanese government to declare a Coronavirus Emergency, several Japanese national team badminton players have decided to kill boredom while quarantined at home by taking part in the #CoffeeCupChallenge initiated by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

Video below showed Japan’s World No. 3 women’s doubles player Wakana Nagahara took the lead by hitting the shuttlecock into a cup, followed by World No. 4 men’s doubles player Takeshi Kamura and World No. 19 women’s singles player Aya Ohori.

In the meantime, the following videos also show some funny reactions from non-professional badminton players when they succeeded in hitting the shuttlecock into a coffee cup or into a container.
