“Chou put up a strong fight in the first set, he controlled the drift very well but I was able to keep it going,” said Axelsen.
The World No. 4 player will meet compatriot, World No. 3 Anders Antonsen in the final. Antonsen edged past Wang Tzu-Wei of Taiwan 21-18, 14-21, 21-16 in the semi-finals.

“I think I care too much about winning the championship. It made me lose my focus. Thanks to Lee Yang for kept running and covering for me today. We will face our idols in the final. They have better skills than us. Ahsan recently just welcomed his newborn baby daughter, congratulations to him. We are going to try our best to fight them,” said Wang.
Lee/Wang will next face Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan of Indonesia in the final.
