It was the third three-game victory for Blair and Bankier, having beaten Patrick Buhl and Rikke Hansen of Denmark 21-17 19-21 21-15 in the second round and knocking out Dutch third seeds Jorrit De Ruiter and Samantha Barning 18-21 21-12 21-14 in the semi-finals.

Imogen Bankier won the women's doubles titles and the mixed doubles (with Robert Blair) at the French International in Orleans on Sunday.
They won the championship last year and they are now rank no 15 in the world.It was the third three-game victory for Blair and Bankier, having beaten Patrick Buhl and Rikke Hansen of Denmark 21-17 19-21 21-15 in the second round and knocking out Dutch third seeds Jorrit De Ruiter and Samantha Barning 18-21 21-12 21-14 in the semi-finals.
They defeated Niclas Nohr and Sara Thygesen from Denmark with 21-13 19-21 21-18 in a thrilling 58-minute game.

The Scots pair could have won in straight games if they had been able to seal the 18-16 second-set lead.
Instead they lost the second set, and had to play the close deciding game as the Denmark pair was able to catch up with 15-12 down to tie the score at 17-17 before the Scots pulled away at 19-18 to take the title.
After the mixed doubles game, Bankier partnered with Petya Nedelcheva to defeat third seeds Bulgaria's Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva 21-14 21-7. They lost to the Bulgaria duo in the semi-final last year.
The pair strong performance in French International has strengthen their confidence for next month's European Championships in Russia.
