Glasgow: Imogen Bankier is delighted to have three chances to win medals for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games when she competes in mixed doubles, the women’s doubles and the team event.
“It’s awesome to have three bites at the cherry,” said Bankier.
Bankier and Kirsty Gilmour will play in the women’s doubles event; She will also team up with Robert Blair in the mixed doubles event.
“The Scotland team is strong and young,” said Bankier.
“By having the home court advantage, we are hoping to get to semi-final,” added Bankier.
“We are going to face tough challenges from England, Singapore and Malaysia. Hopefully the crowd can rally behind us and we can pull through for the victory.”
