China to face South Korea in Uber Cup final

Both players fought neck and neck in the decider, but Li eventually found her rhythm to seemingly cruising her way with 21-15, 12-21, 21-17 against the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal.

China’s Wang Shixian concluded one of the most remarkable comeback in Uber Cup history when she had to dig deep to surge from 8-18 in the second set to seal the second women’s singles victory against P.V Sindhu with 21-13, 23-21.

China will square off with South Korea who defeated Japan 3-1 in the other Uber Cup semi-finals in the final on Saturday.
