
Sydney, Australia — Malaysian badminton coach Wong Tat Meng shared a heartfelt message on Sunday after being visited by national men’s singles coach Yogendran Khrishnan and his wife, Sugita, while he continues his recovery in a Sydney hospital.
Yogendran is currently in Sydney with the Malaysian squad ahead of the 2025 Australia Open, which begins tomorrow at the Sydney Olympic Park.
Wong Tat Meng, who has been undergoing rehabilitation following a serious road accident on 7 September, expressed his gratitude in a warm social media post.

The visit came at an emotional time for the veteran coach, who has received an outpouring of support from players, colleagues, and fans since the accident.
