Incheon: Chinese badminton delegation arrived in Incheon on Wednesday afternoon to attend the 17th Asian Games. When asked by reporter, defending men’s singles player Lin Dan said: “This is my fourth time playing in the Asian Games, is very special and I can’t be thankful enough. I appreciate the opportunity to participate and looking forward to play well in every match.”
Lin Dan also expressed confident that the China team will bounce back in the Asian Games team event after their loss in Thomas Cup last May.
“Asian Games is going to be challenging, because the individual events will start immediately after the team event. I am hoping to strengthen my physical and mental state as the tournament progresses,” added Lin Dan.
The two time Olympics gold medalist appeared calm when answering question about his biggest rival – Lee Chong Wei.
“I will try my best if I have chance to play against him”
