Kuala Lumpur: Lee Chong Wei has returned to training on Friday, earlier than expected after his cancer treatment to help maintain or regain muscle strength.

He was accompanied by his coaches including Misbun Sidek, Hendrawan and Tey Seu Bock inside the gym.

The former World No. 1 told a Malaysian blogger that he was looking forward to start his official on-court training next Monday.
“This is just a small step toward my comeback. I still need some time to regain my fitness, but I am optimistic about it,” said Lee.
Badminton fans really can’t wait to see Lee back in action again.
