When the PBSI Secretary-General – Muhammad Fadil Imran was asked by Indonesian media whether PBSI would impose some sort of punishment on Rambitan, Imran said this would be a lesson learned not only for Rambitan but for all Indonesian badminton players.
“I think getting the warning from PBSI’s Secretary-General was serious enough for him. Moreover, he already received a lot of criticism from the fans. He has assessed the situation and realized he did something wrong,” said Imran.
“In the future, all national team players should be very careful of how they behave while using the internet. Hopefully, this won’t happen again!” explained Imran.
