Da Nang: May be she’s not old enough to get a driver’s license yet, but that did not stop 15-year-old Goh Jin Wei from winning the Vietnam International Series women’s singles title on Sunday. She showed maturity beyond her age, to break down her Taiwanese’s opponent Chen Su Yu in straight sets to claim her second international title within a month. Goh Jin Wei won her maiden international title at Belgian International Open on September 12, in Leuven, Belgium.Goh Jin Wei posted a Facebook photo of herself standing on the podium of 2015 Vietnam International Series. The victory saw Goh Jin Wei exacted her revenge on Chen Su Yu for her 2015 Thailand Junior International defeat early this year.

In mixed doubles, No. 3 seeds Tan Kian Meng/Peck Yen Wei suffered heartbreaks at the hands of Indonesian shuttlers Rian Swastedian/Masita Mahmudin, seeing the Vietnam International Series title slip out of their grasp at the Tien Son Sports Complex on Sunday. Tan/Peck couldn’t overcome the Indonesian, losing the mixed doubles finals 13-21, 21-19, 17-21 in 45 minutes.

In addition to the mixed doubles title, Indonesia took three other available titles on the final day of the tournament.

Krishna Adi Nugraha of Indonesia demonstrated his superiority over his compatriot Enzi Shafira as he ground out a 3-sets victory to claim the men’s singles title.

In the all-Indonesia men’s doubles final, top seeds Hardianto Hardianto/Kenas Adi Haryanto cruised to victory over No. 3 seed Hantoro/Rian Swastedian 21-14, 21-14.

No. 1 seeds Gebby Ristiyani Imawan/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah of Indonesia then picked up the women’s doubles title for Indonesia when they defeated compatriots Nisak Puji Lestari/Merisa Cindy Sahputri 21-8, 19-21, 21-15.
