Kuala Lumpur: World No. 56 men’s singles player Chong Wei Feng who left Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) on the 1st of May, surprised his girlfriend with proposal last Saturday.
In a video posted by Chong’s current coach and former Malaysia national player Kuan Beng Hong, Chong Wei Feng first handed red roses to his girlfriend, then got down on one knee, while holding a ring and asked his girlfriend to marry him and obviously, she said “Yes”!
Chong Wei Feng who reached a career-high World No. 12 in 2013, has played for BAM for 12 years before his resignation.
Another Malaysian shuttler, former World No. 1 men’s doubles player also proposed to his girlfriend in Sydney last week.
