Kuala Lumpur: Although his coach Hendrawan and team doctor have yet to clear Lee Chong Wei and to ensure he is healthy enough to participate in the 2017 All England tournament, after Lee tore the medial collateral ligament (MCL) on his left knee following a fall on a slippery badminton court mat, Lee has shown progress in recovering from the knee injury.
Video below showed Lee was back into action on the practice court after the injury, sparring with one of his coach Tey Seu Bock during a training session, as if he could make a comeback on time for the All England.
Although badminton fans would like to see him play during 2017 All England, more importantly, BadmintonPlanet.com hope he could recover fully before playing in competitive tournaments, because that will be crucial for him to maintain consistent greatness.
