
Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei who won her second World Junior title in Markham, Canada, received congratulatory message from Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on Monday.
Wan Azizah Wan Ismail who joined the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) as its new patron on September 20, 2018, posted on her social media page saying “Congrats to Goh Jin Wei, World Junior Badminton Championship Champion in Canada. Malaysia can!”

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman who was sworn in as the 18th Youth and Sports Minister at the age of 25, also posted message below on his social media page to congratulate Goh Jin Wei for her achievement.

Meanwhile, Malaysia’s former youth and sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin tweeted his congratulations to Goh Jin Wei saying “Congratulations, Jin Wei! She had a dip in form after winning the World Juniors in 2015. She worked hard to bounce back winning gold at @KL2017. This year, she’s back with Youth Olympic gold and another World Junior title. Hard work pays off.”
