Denmark’s Commanding Performance
While France was expected to be a tough opponent, the Danish took control early, with World No. 13 mixed doubles duo Jesper Toft and Amalie Mageland’s stunning upset of World No. 8 Gicquel/Delrue.

Then, Anders Antonsen and Line Christophersen sealed the win with straight-game victories, marking the continuance of Denmark’s dominance.

Denmark has dropped only one match throughout the entire tournament–a woman’s singles loss against Azerbaijan–but still pulled away with a convincing 4-1.

Now, with another gold medal secured, Denmark remains the undisputed badminton powerhouse of Europe.
