In his match against Teh, Axelsen started the match intensely, racing to an early 6-0 lead and overwhelming Teh with superior court coverage and precision. This trend kept up the whole opening game, with Axelsen claiming it 21-11 in dominating fashion.

However, the second game proved a struggle to Axelsen as Teh stayed competitive, even leading 11-9 at the mid-game. With every point scored, Teh celebrated very vocally, seemingly in an attempt to disrupt Axelsen’s rhythm.

However, the Danish superstar regained composure and control over the match with a few net exchanges. Soon, his tactical superiority and flawless execution were able to send Teh packing as Axelsen closed out game two 21-14, securing his spot in the quarterfinals.
