Paris: After the conclusion of the badminton events at the Paris Olympics, Olympic mixed doubles gold medalist Zheng Siwei and Olympic men’s doubles silver medalist Wang Chang embarked on a different kind of adventure near the Eiffel Tower—a karaoke and music video journey.
In a video shared on Zheng Siwei’s Instagram, he and Wang Chang can be seen singing Jay Chou’s “Love Confession.” At the song’s beginning, the two “singers” from the Chinese badminton team did fairly well. However, as the song reached its climax, much like their matches, it left viewers on the edge of their seats.

Nevertheless, their bold attempt of showcasing a different side of their talents beyond badminton deserves a big thumbs up! As for their singing? There’s definitely room for improvement. For now, to spare the audience any heart attacks (joking), it’s probably safer to watch them excel on the badminton court.
